Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences, and at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry. Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, computer proficiency in MS Office and the internet, and organizational skills are required. A background in the pharmaceutical and science industry is preferred, along with the ability and willingness to travel to customer locations.

Responsibilities

The Sales Representative II will develop and maintain effective customer relations within a defined territory, independently make decisions while utilizing available resources, perform sales calls and vendor relations, research competitor and industry activity, manage pricing within the territory, maintain accurate reporting and files, communicate customer issues to supervisors, and positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times. They will also incorporate new product and service information into the business plan and assist customers with supply and price trends.
