Ashby is building the next generation of enterprise software, focusing on empowering talent leaders, recruiters, and hiring managers with a data-centric talent strategy. We are a well-funded company backed by notable investors and have thousands of successful customers. Our revenue and headcount are growing 100% year-over-year, indicating a significant growth opportunity.

This role, Sales Strategy & Operations, is crucial for driving performance, efficiency, and insight across our go-to-market teams. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will partner closely with Sales leadership to define strategies and execute improvements that optimize customer health, retention, and revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Business Dynamics: Own and improve core Go-To-Market (GTM) performance dashboards and reports using tools like HubSpot, Looker, and Google Sheets.
  • Optimize the Sales Cycle: Analyze funnel conversion and sales cycle trends to identify growth opportunities.
  • Data Hygiene: Drive data hygiene across the sales funnel and sales tools.
  • Support Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Finance and Sales leadership on planning cycles, including headcount planning, capacity modeling, forecasting, compensation planning, and quota setting. Provide historical data for informed decision-making.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to Sales workflows. Implement and deploy Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure performance against strategic initiatives.
  • Optimize Sales Systems: Define business requirements to improve Sales efficiency, efficacy, and scalability. Partner with RevOps teammates to implement tool changes.
  • Collaborate Cross-functionally: Ensure alignment with Customer Success, Marketing, Product, and other teams to align resources with sales needs and forecasted growth.
  • Support Change Management: Lead the roll-out and adoption of new processes or workflows to the Sales team. Partner with Enablement on larger-scale change programs.

Requirements

  • Self-starter with innate curiosity.
  • Possess both SaaS and financial literacy, offering an informed perspective on Sales benchmarks.
  • 4-6 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Strategy, or Analytics (experience at a SaaS or high-growth tech company is a bonus).
  • Fluent in HubSpot, Excel/Google Sheets, and Business Intelligence (BI) tools like Looker.
  • Ability to think analytically and translate raw data into clear stories and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and process quality.
  • Skilled in CRM reporting, with a preference for HubSpot experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

This Role May Not Be a Fit If:

  • You are unwilling to manage both high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
  • You are uncomfortable with ambiguity and prefer structured, predefined assignments.
  • You prefer focused work on a single project at a time.
  • You prefer working within a single team rather than across multiple teams.

Interview Process

Our interview process is thorough and designed to ensure mutual fit. The stages for this role include:

  • Recruiter Screen with Talent Acquisition Team (30 minutes)
  • Hiring Manager Interview (45 minutes)
  • Challenge Interview (45 minutes)
  • Virtual Onsite (90 minutes)

Benefits

  • 10-year exercise window for stock options.
