Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Services, and Treasury roles is required, along with demonstrable knowledge and passion for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency with a security-first mindset. Experience in a high-volume, deadline-oriented transactional environment, including the execution and settlement of high-value payments and spot FX fiat/crypto, is necessary. Strong analytical skills with the ability to build financial models and work with different data types, a strong comprehension of the balance sheet and transaction effects on assets and liabilities, and a firm understanding of global and local fiat/crypto payment networks like SWIFT, SEPA, Bitcoin, and Ethereum are essential. The role also requires a strong work ethic and the ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Technical skills in Excel and SQL, along with Treasury Management System (TMS) experience, are considered nice-to-haves.

Responsibilities

The Treasury Operations Analyst will build, update, and interpret cash flow, loan, interest earnings, and target balancing forecasts. They will execute high-value payments for treasury rebalancing and other operating needs using the TMS, internal payment gateways, and banking partners. The analyst will collaborate with treasury and OTC trading analysts to execute crypto trades and fiat foreign exchange transactions for customers and internal hedging. Responsibilities also include managing treasury operations tools across multiple global banking partners, such as cash pooling and legal entity cash concentration, and partnering with Kraken's global OTC trading team to provide reliable global 24/7 settlement services. Continuous improvement of processes, ensuring data verification, quality, and accuracy, and conducting detailed analysis to deploy liquidity management tools for optimizing internal ledger and bank account balances globally are also key duties. Weekend work is required 1-3 times per month.
