Requirements

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience as a full-time DevOps engineer and 5+ years of experience with AWS in a production environment, including proficiency in AWS Organization Concepts, networking, and application services. Three years of production Terraform experience is required, along with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines. Proficiency in writing custom code/scripts for DevOps tasks and experience with production monitoring and support are also essential.

Responsibilities

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform to automate AWS resource provisioning. They will develop a balanced approach to security, privacy, reliability, and performance, and collaborate with developers to optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Github Actions. Responsibilities include extending and improving monitoring and alerting with tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch, troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, building high-availability solutions, optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance, and maintaining documentation.
