Responsibilities

  • Develop, lead, grow, and manage ACE (Adhesive, Coatings, Elastomers) and specialties business segment for North East region and neighboring countries (Bangladesh/Nepal/Pakistan) as per budgeted topline and bottom line growth
  • Focus on business growth for the region, emphasizing topline and bottom line growth
  • Manage existing business with key accounts/regular customers and drive profitable growth through new customers/markets and new product introduction
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams collaboratively to deliver goals
  • Meet and exceed budgeted sales volume, revenue, and contribution margin for the region
  • Understand value drivers of the business and identify profitable commercial opportunities to grow revenue and market share
  • Develop and maintain excellent understanding of key customers/target audience to meet their needs, retain business, and grow/identify new distribution networks for increased geographic coverage and service to small/medium accounts
  • Maintain key accounts by implementing Key Account Management plans and coordinating quarterly progress reviews with customers and commercial manager
  • Identify new potential strategic key accounts and develop them as future growth partners through active engagement
  • Provide prompt technical services to customers, offering solutions, solving technical queries/quality complaints/issues
  • Execute technical development plan for key accounts and provide inputs for broad product and application development plans aligned with business strategy
  • Contribute to establishing and maintaining a market intelligence system capturing competitive dynamics, market size, and market share to update strategy
  • Maintain close working relationship with marketing team on selecting sub-segments to participate in
  • Proactively increase prices by foreseeing RM price trends, supply-demand dynamics, and exchange rate forecasts
  • Manage inventory levels through coordination with supply chain and ensure desired forecast accuracy
  • Manage DSO levels as per targets through coordination with credit control team
