Requirements

  • MBA and Engineering degree
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
  • (Preferred) Understanding of manufacturing trends, industrial automation technologies (like MES, Motion Control, Drives), and customer business drivers in OEM/End-user segments
  • (Preferred) Plan territory coverage, identify potential accounts, and align actions with business goals
  • (Preferred) Familiarity with IT/OT convergence, industrial automation platforms, and digital tools like CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) or data analytics platforms

Responsibilities

  • Obtain in-depth understanding of RA business process
  • Understand the Sales Fundamentals (listening, analysing, lead qualifying, and negotiating, persevering, closing), Prospecting & New customer Development, Value-based selling
  • Understand customer-centric selling and Territory Planning & Management
  • Develop accounts plan with mentor for the assigned accounts and territory
  • Develop prospect list for sales opportunities
  • Understand the client processes and business model
  • Analyse, identify, and create customer needs for RA products and leverage RA resources to meet them
  • Understand the industrial and manufacturing market, drivers and innovative plays to win and gain share customer needs
  • Qualify, and close the qualified sales opportunities coached by mentor for assigned accounts
  • Create a positive experience and maintain relationship with assigned customers
  • Work with market access partners during the keep, find, and close process
  • Be digitally experienced, understand the information technology and operational technology overlays
  • Ability to think in multiple dimensions, strategically and execute on tactical actions to achieve RA business objectives
  • Understand the industrial automation and information products (specifically Motion Control, Drive System, MES / Information System, Component Industry Control, Services & Solutions, etc.), Industry Knowledge, partner development, End-user/OEM Business Drivers
  • Drive results, develop strategy, manage stressful environments with professionalism
  • Build good relationship skills (Customer Focus/Motivator)
  • Successful completion of the sales management trainee training program and meet requirements of account manager
