Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed business objectives
  • Set clear sales goals and KPIs; monitor performance and provide actionable insights
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and sales data to inform decision-making
  • Utilize CRM systems and sales analytics tools to drive performance
  • Lead, mentor, and support a geographically dispersed sales team of 8, including Sales Representatives and a Team Leader
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure alignment with company goals and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape across Sub-Saharan Africa
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards
  • Monitor emerging trends and innovations to maintain competitive advantage
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key stakeholders
  • Manage key partnerships and represent the company at industry events and conferences
