Requirements

  • Ability to generate revenue through sales to new and/or existing key accounts within a geographic area or market
  • Skill in collecting information to understand business issues, problems, opportunities, and identify sales prospects

  • Familiarity with leading accounts ranging from 250k-2M (North America Segment) or ISOs/Bank Acquirers with 10k-50k+ merchants (Merchant Segment)
  • Competence in nurturing relationships, executing cold call plans, and establishing relationship plans for new/existing business
  • Understanding of territory dynamics, conducting research, and determining appropriate timing/contact for prospects
  • Ability to create, maintain, and sustain Strategic Sales Plan (SSP) for top prospects/accounts, with guidance for complex deals
  • Skill in closing sales, with more guidance for complex deals
  • Expertise in creating solution design plans, sizing conversion work, and helping clients understand transition efforts and product mix
  • Ability to assess customer business, review solution options considering vision/goals/pain points/target state, and make recommendations
  • Capacity to create/modify sales project plans to close sales, conduct stage assessments, and orchestrate internal resources (pricing, IT, implementation)
  • Knowledge of industry dynamics, key market trends (e.g., mobile apps, chip cards), and ability to discuss current/developing products
  • Experience conducting consultative thought leadership and assisting with solution design
  • Ability to independently negotiate master agreements and service level agreements for small prospects (e.g., small community banks/credit unions), with guidance for larger deals

Responsibilities

  • Research target prospects and develop pipeline in assigned territory/portfolio/accounts for new/existing sales, with some support
  • For existing clients, conduct penetration analysis and determine action plans
  • For new sales, identify opportunities, conduct cold calls, and nurture relationships
  • Lead accounts/ISOs/Bank Acquirers in specified volumes, with general guidance for larger ones
  • Nurture old/new relationships, execute cold call plans, and establish relationship plans, with support for complex/mega sales
  • Conduct territory research and determine prospect contact timing
  • Create, maintain, and sustain SSP for top prospects/accounts and close sales
  • Create solution design plans, size conversion work, and guide clients on transition/product mix
  • Assess customer business and recommend delivery options based on their vision/goals/pain points/target state
  • Create/modify sales project plans, conduct stage assessments, and orchestrate internal resources for client meetings
  • Maintain ongoing communication with internal groups
  • Discuss industry trends, current/developing products with clients, and provide consultative thought leadership
  • Negotiate master agreements and SLAs for small prospects independently; seek guidance for larger deals
