Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 years of experience working with clients and technology partners, along with demonstrated experience selling and implementing Enterprise Hardware or Software, Cloud Platforms, IaaS, PaaS, or Virtual Infrastructure software is required. The role also requires comfort in engaging with multiple decision-makers, exceptional presentation skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and a self-motivated, self-starter attitude with a willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will drive new customer opportunities by providing sales and technical assistance, effectively articulating Cohesity technology to both business and technical users. Responsibilities include enabling customers to integrate Cohesity products into their production environments, developing and leading secondary storage technology strategy for large customers and partners, and communicating Cohesity's vision through product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals. The role also involves identifying customer needs, crafting proof of concepts, collaborating with product management as a field representative to provide insights and convey customer requirements, and providing project management and post-sales technical support.
