Requirements

The ideal candidate is an early-career Sales Engineer or someone transitioning into sales engineering with a strong understanding of public sector business processes and technology. Experience working within the public sector, including state and local government, is required. Experience in a customer-facing, account management, or strategic consulting role, or a technical background with hands-on experience in SaaS-based technologies, AI, or RPA is also beneficial. The role demands a results-oriented mindset, excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

The Sales Engineer will develop expertise in public sector challenges, regulations, and compliance standards. They will collaborate with sales teams to tailor UiPath's Automation Platform solutions to public sector clients' needs, ensuring alignment with regulatory and security requirements. Responsibilities include conducting targeted product demonstrations, engaging with clients to analyze technical requirements and translate them into automation solutions, and designing and executing tailored Proof-of-Concepts (POCs). The role also involves delivering technical presentations to diverse public sector stakeholders, collaborating with sales executives on tailored strategies, ensuring solutions meet public sector security and compliance standards, and preparing detailed technical documentation and case studies.
