Position Overview

As an RPA Software Engineer at Anrok, you will collaborate with your colleagues to gain a deep understanding of customer needs, design intelligent automation systems for real-world problems, and develop best-in-class automation solutions. Our technology stack includes TypeScript, Postgres, and React, with Playwright as our primary automation framework.

Responsibilities

• Own the scoping, design, and development of RPA solutions and automation workflows.
• Develop intelligent bots and automation scripts to streamline tax compliance processes.
• Identify manual processes and transform them into automated solutions.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to address technical issues for both internal and external customers.

What Excites Us

• A strong technical background with 4+ years of experience as a software engineer and 2+ years of experience building automation solutions or RPA systems.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for web automation. Experience with other RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism) is a plus.
• A thoughtful approach to problem-solving, ensuring the right solutions are built for the right problems at the right time, with the ability to push back when necessary.
• Designs that consider scalability, error handling, and maintenance requirements, with the ability to clearly articulate the trade-offs between manual and automated processes.

Work Model

• Hub Cities (San Francisco, New York, Salt Lake City): A hybrid model requiring three days per week in the office for in-person collaboration and team connection.
• Outside Hub Cities (U.S. Only): A fully remote setup.
