Requirements

Candidates must have proven ability to generate new pipeline and close SaaS and service deals in the Defense communities, with a track record of increasing sales to national, regional, and local governments in EMEA. They should possess a keen understanding of government intelligence and/or cyber operations, developed as a former practitioner in defense, law enforcement, intelligence, or cyber operations, and have a proven track record in government sales, acquisitions, or interagency experience. A proven track record in Software Sales with an interest in Vulnerability Management and Cyber Threat Intelligence, a deep understanding of the public sector and government communities, and the willingness to travel to clients within the assigned region are also required. Experience working with channel partners, Value Added Resellers, and System Integrators is necessary, along with effective communication skills across all organizational levels and the ability to work with little oversight as a self-starter with a strong work ethic. Proficiency in CRM platforms and emerging sales tools is essential.

Responsibilities

The Sales Director will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships using a customer-centric, solution-based sales approach, collaborating with technical and non-technical colleagues to deliver positive customer experiences, and negotiating complex software solutions and service deals with procurement teams. They will also be expected to drive Flashpoint's brand and solutions through their professional network, complete sales training on products, generate new pipeline, conduct demos and POVs with Solutions Architects, and close new or upsell business deals. The role involves understanding the products and their outcomes to facilitate consultative selling.
