Requirements

  • Full-time availability for field-based work covering South & Midlands of the UK
  • Willingness to develop skills to become an effective sales representative
  • Ability to work closely with experienced Regional Sales Manager and sales team
  • Focus on learning and practicing sales techniques for Surgical Technologies portfolio (e.g., Neptune and Safe Air)
  • Proficiency in managing stock issues, instrument requirements, loan kits, and customer training
  • Understanding of hospital and operating theatre environments for safe product use
  • Commitment to exemplary customer service, patient focus, and ethical conduct
  • Readiness to support regional sales targets and milestones without initial individual targets

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster strong relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Participate in customer education and support Regional Sales Representatives for engagement and commercial success with Neptune S portfolio
  • Pursue business opportunities to grow Stryker business in targeted accounts
  • Drive compliance to current contracts with the sales team
  • Learn and grow territory volume through sales of Surgical Technologies portfolio
  • Manage day-to-day operations of key accounts, including stock, instruments, loan kits, and regular customer training
  • Support other sales managers to focus on new business acquisition
  • Implement and deliver training sessions/workshops on Stryker products to nurses, theatre practitioners, and surgeons
  • Understand customer needs, promote/sell products, and apply basic selling, presenting, and negotiation techniques
  • Manage product provision channels (consignment kits, loan service) to suit customer needs
  • Provide prompt customer service in specified hospitals, building relationships with key personnel
  • Prioritize appropriate medical care and recommend suitable products
  • Collaborate with regional sales team and Business Unit Manager for best-in-class service; attend training meetings and conferences
  • Demonstrate ethics, respect, and positive representation of Stryker
  • Conduct product trials and evaluations in theatre/clinical environments
  • Observe customer needs and liaise with sales colleagues for follow-ups and new product introductions
  • Record details of activities (as required)
