Position Overview

This position is a field sales role focused on achieving sales targets within the assigned territory. The successful candidate will possess technical expertise in QPCR, dPCR, and Sequencing technologies and be able to provide technical consultation and influence key decisions regarding technology and product selection, primarily targeting Research markets. The role involves driving sales initiatives for these technologies and is responsible for implementing a sales strategy to meet company goals.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum MSc degree in biology or life sciences.
  • QPCR Experience: Preferred experience with QPCR technology.
  • Sales Experience: Preferred experience in the Research field.
  • Orientation: Ability to develop and implement strategies to drive growth.
  • Travel: Ability to undertake frequent travel within the assigned territory.
  • Language Skills: Good English skills (written and spoken).
  • Virtual Selling: Virtual selling experience is optional.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the agreed-upon sales target.
  • Drive business expansion in the Research market and support New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve targets.
  • Maintain an updated territory and action plan, anticipating pipeline changes to address shortfalls.
  • Implement sophisticated action plans and continually review strategy efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge regarding business aspects (technical, market, competition, applications).
  • Utilize the company’s customer relationship management (CRM) program and other designated IT tools for sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking.
  • Build reference sites and establish positive interactions with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
