MBA from a tier 1 institute
10 to 15 years of overall experience
5–8 years of M&A Advisory, Strategy Consulting, or Investment Banking experience
Experience in M&A advisory (tech), Separation planning & execution, Integration Planning & Execution, IT Due Diligence
Experience in at least 2 of: Tech Strategy, Tech Operating Models, IT Shared Services Strategy
Deep experience across technology strategy areas such as Tech M&A Advisory, IT Separation/Integration Planning/Execution, Digital & Technology Strategy, Operating Model Design, Agile Operating Model Design, Workforce Transformation, Sourcing Strategy, IT Shared Services Strategy, Process Transformation, Value case/business case formulation, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Portfolio Strategy
Strong understanding of a specific industry, client, or technology to advise senior leadership
Advanced presentation, public speaking, content creation, and communication skills for C-Level discussions
Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting activities, and build financial proposals

Responsibilities

Lead and support M&A transactions (Carve Outs/Separation/Mergers/Integrations) with a focus on the technology sector, including IT infrastructure, software, cybersecurity, cloud computing, SaaS, AI, and emerging tech trends
Manage and lead IT due diligence processes, evaluating financial, operational, technological, and legal aspects of technology companies/organizations being considered for acquisition
Conduct Industry & Technology Infrastructure Assessment to understand client technology operations in the context of global, industry, economic, technology, and social trends
Draw roadmaps for IT implementations by pinpointing data-driven Digital, IT, or Cloud technology strategy solutions for practical implementation
Monitor Digital, IT & Cloud Strategy, including managing change, monitoring, gauging processes, and taking remedial steps
Act as a long-term trusted advisor and partner by providing thought leadership and profound knowledge of market trends
Understand and deploy key value drivers of a business and how they impact the scope and approach of the engagement
Create expert content for C-Level discussions
