2+ years in data engineering or related fields
Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Strong programming skills in Python, Scala, or Java
Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Hive

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
Work with structured and unstructured data across a wide variety of data sources
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Optimize data systems and architecture for performance, scalability, and reliability
Monitor data quality and support initiatives to ensure clean, accurate, and consistent data
Develop and maintain data models and metadata
Implement and maintain best practices in data governance, security, and compliance
