Requirements

  • Senior or Master’s level in robotics, computer science, aerospace, mechanical, or other degrees with background in autonomous vehicles, perception solutions, navigation, and sensor fusion
  • Experience with computer vision, including object detection and recognition, and image segmentation
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, Python, Linux and Windows
  • Familiarity with simulation environments: ex. Isaac Sim, Unity, UnReal Engine
  • Familiarity with Kalman Filters (EKF, UKF), particle filters, factor graph filter, etc
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Available to start on May 18, 2026, and participate through August 7, 2026

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in development of detailed simulation environments, computer vision, real-time embedded software, and working prototypes for autonomous applications
  • Perform engineering analysis on visual odometry, object detection/recognition, and segmentation
  • Work with embedded hardware and software to create prototypes for evaluation
  • Review research literature and develop solutions to applicable problems
