Candidates should have 8+ years of experience, with at least 4 years in machine learning. Extensive experience in Python is required, along with experience in 2D deep learning and 3D geometric computer vision. Experience with 3D deep learning and PyTorch is preferred. A Master's or PhD in a related field is necessary, and candidates must have immaculate attention to detail and the ability to overlap with US Eastern Standard Time working hours.
The Staff Machine Learning & Computer Vision Engineer will build computer vision models to extract structure from unstructured 3D scans. They will research state-of-the-art methods for developing models for 3D generative AI tasks and conventional computer vision tasks. The engineer will work with product and research teams to identify improvement opportunities in current and upcoming products. They will handle massive datasets to develop and fine-tune models for specific applications, develop evaluation methods to establish confidence in datasets and models, implement best practices for MLOps pipelines, and collaborate closely with product owners to deliver value quickly to Dandy’s customers.
