Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, technical school certification, and a minimum of 4 years of experience in transportation or motor carrier operations. Preferred qualifications include diesel mechanic, trailer mechanic, and ThermoKing experience, as well as knowledge of commercial vehicle components and common reasons for failure. Strong written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and familiarity with MS365 and AS400 are required.

Responsibilities

The Roadside Assistance Coordinator will receive and attempt to diagnose calls, deliver clear communication to all parties, route drivers to repair facilities, communicate service interruptions to Operations, identify warrantable repairs and file claims, process and reconcile invoices, and perform other assigned duties. They will also be responsible for incident investigation, policy interpretation, training and re-training, and reporting.
