Requirements

4+ years of revenue accounting experience, preferably with consumptive based revenue recognition
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and ASC 606, including breakage accounting and accounting for variable consideration
Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
Experience navigating large amounts of data
Experience working with Netsuite, Stripe and Salesforce (or similar ERP / CRM tools)
Curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results
Ability to work in-office on Mondays and Thursdays (Anchor Days); certain positions may require additional in-office days
Nice to Haves

Responsibilities

Support month-end close activities related to usage-based and consumptive revenue streams, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with ASC 606
Prepare and validate monthly revenue recognition calculations, including variable consideration estimates, breakage analysis, and usage-driven revenue true-ups
Partner cross-functionally with Data Engineering, FP&A, and BizTech to ensure usage data completeness and alignment between billing systems and the GL
Assist in documenting accounting conclusions and performing ad-hoc analyses related to new pricing models, credit expirations, or contract modifications
Support audit requests and help strengthen internal controls and documentation
Prepare the revenue month-end close process, ensuring accurate financial reporting and driving process improvements
