Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
2+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
Strong knowledge of the retirement plan industry and retirement/financial wellness capabilities and tools
Experience with lead flow, sales funnel management, and client relationship management
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with internal teams
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency in CRM (Salesforce) tools
Strong understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and client relationships
Ability to work in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment

Experience with prospecting, lead nurturing, and closing deals

Responsibilities

Actively prospect and lead nurture to drive revenue goals by scheduling meetings with the Director of Client Development and closing customers
Own and manage the sales funnel from start to finish, using motivation to drive success
Provide expert sales support to Director of Client Development and Relationship Managers
Identify and act on new sales or client deepening opportunities during support engagements
Assist with sales presentations, RFP responses, and strategic partnership opportunities
Execute sales tactics aligned with firm and industry strategy
Conduct proactive outreach using internal tools and resources
Participate in prospect and client meetings to help close new retirement plan business or expand current client relationships
Track all activities in CRM (Salesforce) tools and contribute to periodic business review meetings with relevant data and success stories
Collaborate effectively with retirement and other departments to drive business growth and client satisfaction
