Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Wealth Management and Brokerage/Custody platforms to support advisor-led and digital self-service functions
  • Strong understanding of supporting technology and operations, including current tech vendor landscape and nuances of front, middle, and back-end
  • Ability to proactively lead holistic retail platform strategy, including technology, go-to-market, operations, and monetization models
  • Experience building close relationships with senior leadership, business partners (e.g., IT, Ops), and third-party partners
  • Skills in managing interdependence across the organization, identifying, building, and managing strategic partnerships
  • Ability to translate business value and user feedback into new development
  • Knowledge of industry insights (e.g., proprietary versus vendor builds, digital versus advisory retail wealth offerings)
  • Experience leading development and execution of technology projects, including application development, automation, and database PL/SQL programming
  • Experience managing individuals

Responsibilities

  • Shape the strategic vision for Voya’s Wealth Management (RWM) platform and manage the go-forward technology strategy & roadmap
  • Help shape the retail product platform vision with customer-centricity and define the business value
  • Develop business cases for further investment, including assessment of potential revenue, implied investment, and OKRs
  • Collaborate with and manage internal stakeholders (business and technology leaders) to gather feedback, refine the product, and factor in business priorities, pacing, risk management, funding, and scope parameters
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders (e.g., customers, vendors, suppliers) to identify customer requirements, assess impacts on data, systems, products, services, compare costs/benefits, and recommend paths forward
  • Scope the minimum viable product considering resource constraints and sustain product development; build and prioritize product backlog based on iterative business value
  • Lead the development and execution of product launches, refinements, and iterations (e.g., cash, robo-advisory, brokerage)
  • Lead the development and execution of technology projects, including application development, automation, and database PL/SQL programming
  • Manage individuals
