Candidates must possess a Grade 12 education or equivalent and have 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or sales role. The ability to lift 50lbs is required, and familiarity with PC-based software applications is necessary. A food handling certificate and prior sales experience are considered assets, along with strong organizational, communication, and attention to detail skills.
The Retail Store Associate will assist the public in purchasing poultry products, transfer product from the plant to the factory outlet daily, and manage inventory. Responsibilities include ordering eggs and fresh product, pushing products using sales abilities, receiving and answering customer phone calls, and processing debit and credit transactions using the Moneris machine. The associate will also perform regular cleaning to ensure a presentable store front, familiarize themselves with product details, and cash out at the end of the day. Other duties may be requested by the Manager of Business Solutions.
