Requirements

Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in business, marketing, or a related field, or a high school diploma with significant sales and industry experience. They should have 3-5 years of selling experience in the home building, remodeling, or renovation markets, along with strong selling skills that include active listening, needs determination, solution creation and presentation, objection handling, and closing. A demonstrated ability to understand and work with contracts for construction services and knowledge of home insurance claims processing is required. Additionally, candidates must have strong math skills and demonstrated computer proficiency using a service-oriented CRM system, including mobile access, as well as excellent customer service skills to handle challenging situations calmly and clearly.

Responsibilities

The Retail Sales Project Consultant will develop and maintain relationships with current clients while identifying new business opportunities. They will execute strategic business plans to achieve sales targets, manage customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention, and promote the company's products and services to meet client objectives. Responsibilities also include scheduling homeowner visits, generating leads, meeting with homeowners to understand their needs, presenting tailored solutions, completing contracts, collaborating with team members, liaising with insurance adjusters, and providing feedback for revenue improvement. Adherence to safety protocols and occasional travel for storm events are also required.
