Requirements

  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Retail or Hospitality management experience (preferred)
  • Wine, Spirits & Beer product knowledge (preferred)
  • Ability to work full-time, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with confidence to customers and team

Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment by greeting, assisting, selling to customers, and quickly responding to inquiries and needs
  • Provide strong leadership presence on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service for all needs
  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management
  • Achieve sales targets and maximize profitability through effective selling, merchandising, promotions, and upselling across categories
  • Partner with store support teams to increase sales, promote merchandise categories, and expand markets
  • Support Store Manager in managing store expenses and budgets, including labor, supplies, and operational costs
  • Utilize company tools to diagnose opportunities and develop action plans to improve store performance
  • Monitor inventory levels, participate in inventory management to minimize out-of-stocks and overstocking
  • Support Store Manager in training staff, providing feedback, coaching, and input on performance evaluations
  • Ensure all pricing, signage, and displays are correct at all times
  • Receive regular vendor deliveries and stock sales floor in a timely manner
  • Control inventory stock levels and reorder as necessary within budget
  • Enforce all company policies, procedures, health, safety, security, and regulatory compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
  • Lead daily operations, motivate team to achieve store goals, analyze sales trends, and develop action plans to drive sales
