Ability to use reach trucks and pallet jacks for product movement and stocking
Proficiency with computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and proprietary software
Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation

Responsibilities

Ensure superior customer service by developing relationships, assisting customers, and promoting US Foods Cultural Beliefs
Perform cashier duties: scan merchandise, weigh products, handle checkout, cart-to-cart transfers, visual inspections for tampering, and receipt checking
Work on sales floor in departments like Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, Dry Goods/Culinary Equipment & Supply: assist customers, increase sales, manage shrinkage
Receive inventory shipments, stock shelves neatly, rotate products (FIFO), perform quality audits, report low stock, label merchandise (blaster tagging, catch weight labels, PLU tags)
Replenish sales floor by down stocking freight from top stock, ensure products are accessible, visually appealing, and available; assist with price changes
Participate in store opening/closing functions, special events (Vendor Fairs, sales floor resets), inventory, and cycle counts
Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and report issues to management
