Candidates should possess prior experience in building, repairing, and selling bicycles, and they must be able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull, as well as lift items weighing up to 35 pounds occasionally. The ability to work extended periods standing or walking is also required.
The Retail Bike Technician will build and repair bicycles according to established procedures, provide a differentiated customer experience specifically to cyclists, sell bikes and related merchandise, offer passionate customer service and engage with customers, promote company programs such as warranty sales and the Scorecard loyalty program, maintain merchandise presentation standards and signage, adhere to company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of company information, support the team across the store, and assist with the assembly of exercise equipment as needed, while also performing other tasks as assigned by management.
