Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in providing in-depth design and technical support for Network Security Products, particularly Juniper Security products, is required. Preferred certifications include JNCIS-Sec and JNCIA-MistAI.

Responsibilities

The Resident Engineer will act as the primary Juniper technical expert for managed services accounts, providing advanced troubleshooting support for Juniper hardware and Junos OS software. Responsibilities include investigating and resolving complex network issues, collaborating with TAC and engineering teams, assisting with network planning and design, guiding the deployment of new Juniper solutions, and reviewing designs and configurations. The role also involves participating in network changes, maintaining documentation, serving as a trusted advisor, communicating technical findings, providing status reports and recommendations, mentoring teams, documenting best practices, recreating customer issues in labs, opening and tracking JTAC cases, assisting with operational review reports, and training customer support personnel on Juniper Networks products.
