Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in sales/customer service
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows, with basic computer skills and ability to multitask
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness
  • Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Neat and clean appearance in compliance with company grooming standards
  • Punctual and able to report at scheduled start time
  • Work well as part of a team
  • Located in Vermont, New Hampshire, or Connecticut to transition to working from home
  • Must attend on-site training for 3-6 weeks

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of contact for call-in guests, booking products in advance of their visit
  • Answer inquiries regarding Stratton Mountain Resort products, services, and lodging options
  • Customize vacation packages to fit guests' needs while providing excellent guest service and guidance
  • Work with first-time visitors and guests with complex requests, requiring specific resort knowledge and attention to detail
  • Participate in outbound sales campaigns and other special projects as required
  • Provide quality customer service in a friendly and positive manner
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of products including lodging, season passes, daily tickets, ski/ride school, and resort events/activities
  • Cover 9-hour shifts on phones (longer during peak periods) and assist guests via telephone, Live-Chat, email, or other written communications
  • Provide resort, village, and local information to guests
  • Assess customers’ needs and recommend best products and vacation packages
  • Check voicemails and emails promptly and respond within 24 hours
  • Perform exceptional follow-up procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Assist in resolving guest complaints, handle concerns, and communicate options
  • Adhere to departmental and company policies/procedures and participate in training/development courses
