Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with proven sales ability and excellent customer relationship skills. They must also demonstrate the ability to write and speak effectively, strong planning, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, knowledge of construction or heavy equipment preferred, solid computer skills and familiarity with general business software and the G-suite platform, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
The Rental Sales Representative will be responsible for establishing new business opportunities through sales calls within their branch territory, managing pre-planning and follow-up actions using a CRM tool, educating customers on equipment through product presentations and demos, providing problem resolution and follow-through to address customer needs, adhering to all safety rules and completing required safety training, and representing ASCO in a positive and professional manner at all times. They will proactively increase revenue through exceptional customer service, seek out new markets, and optimize opportunities to increase profitability in alignment with ASCO’s continuous growth plan.
