Inside Sales Renewals Representative

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Inside Sales Renewals Representative to join our fast-paced and collaborative sales team. This role is crucial for managing software subscription renewals, ensuring timely closure, and maintaining customer satisfaction, thereby driving business growth and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of software subscription renewal business, aligned by quarter, with the goal of closing all renewal contracts before expiration.
  • Meet quarterly, half-year, and annual targets (quota) for assigned renewal business.
  • Maintain direct engagement with customers and channel partners throughout the contract lifecycle to identify and remove obstacles to timely renewal.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Inside/Field Sales, Customer Success, Channel Sales) to ensure renewals are closed on time.
  • Discuss renewal prices with customers and secure commitment on updated terms.
  • Generate and manage sales opportunities and quotes in SFDC, providing timely updates on sales cycles and challenges.
  • Work with external partners, distributors, and resellers to deliver a value-driven renewal experience.
  • Participate in and present during customer quarterly business reviews.
  • Accurately forecast renewal business expected to close each quarter.
  • Identify renewals at risk and investigate/document reasons for lost renewals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience negotiating with and selling to enterprise IT buyers in a quota-carrying sales role.
  • Industry experience and extensive knowledge of enterprise software sales, software subscription services, or SaaS licensing methodology.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce.com CRM, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and other CRM tools.
  • Familiarity with enterprise procurement processes, particularly for IT-related spending.
  • Demonstrated track record of personal development, increasing responsibility, and ability to thrive in a constantly evolving and demanding environment.
  • Ability to clearly articulate Cohesity's value through written and verbal communication.

In-Office Expectations

Cohesity employees within a reasonable commute (e.g., 45-minute average travel time) are expected to work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
