Candidates are required to have at least 2 years of related experience, basic knowledge of insurance benefits and eligibility criteria, be highly self-motivated, dependable, possess excellent time management skills, and be able to work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships are also required, along with valued kidney care or case management experience.
The Renal Service Coordinator will locate providers that accept patient’s insurance and new patients, schedule appointments with providers and efficiently coordinate patient care, coordinate access to durable medical equipment, connect patients to vital community resources to enhance their overall well-being, demonstrate thoughtful decision-making and resourcefulness when locating alternative options due to insurance coverage limitations, overcome barriers by thinking creatively and finding innovative solutions, and assist with various projects.
