Experience engaging directly with government regulators and law enforcement, primarily in APAC

Experience in litigation, court proceedings, arbitration, disputes, and supervising external counsel

Responsibilities

Represent the company in front of government regulators and law enforcement (primarily in APAC) to manage and respond to inquiries, subpoenas, court orders, and other requests
Advise and support stakeholders across business units on handling regulatory and law enforcement requests, ensuring timely, legally sound, and strategic follow-ups
Develop, implement, and continuously improve processes and protocols for regulatory cooperation, balancing business needs, legal obligations, and reputational risk as Airwallex grows
Represent Airwallex and manage external counsel in key litigation, court proceedings, arbitration, and disputes—with a mandate spanning business customers, financial institutions, individuals, and other parties
Shape global strategy and governance for regulatory enforcement engagement, dispute management, and risk mitigation amid ongoing business expansion
Conduct internal investigations involving issues related to financial crime
