Requirements

Candidates must possess deep domain knowledge of the Diagnostic Services industry, with molecular diagnostic experience strongly preferred. Experience selling Oncology based tests and services into the Pathology and/or Oncology clinical communities is preferred. The role requires experience within complex selling environments and demonstrated success in recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining talent. Candidates must be able to prioritize and align organizational goals, enable innovation, and develop cross-functional relationships. The ability to provide an integrated MolDx/SaaS solution using Tempus’s sequencing technology and engage in a consultative selling process is essential.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will lead a Regional Sales Team to exceed sales goals across Tempus’s product portfolio. Responsibilities include creating and implementing regional and territory business plans, selecting, hiring, training, developing, and managing Clinical Account Executives. The manager will oversee business results, sales activities, and cross-functional initiatives within a defined geographic region, making day-to-day decisions for business functions. This involves deploying resources, allocating costs, directing activities, and securing relevant information to identify key issues and develop solutions. The role requires frequent travel to work with Account Executives in their territories. Key duties include achieving regional sales objectives, developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining key customer relationships, planning and conducting regional sales meetings, evaluating the performance of Clinical Account Executives, maintaining high product and market knowledge, identifying contracting opportunities, and managing the CRM solution for the region.
