Requirements

  • Established track record of success in generating sales with financial advisers and intermediaries, encompassing a range of investment solutions
  • Extensive adviser relationships across the intermediary market
  • Experience in the Australian adviser market (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a Sales Plan for an identified segment of the intermediary market, including setting sales projections and disciplined management to deliver sales outcomes
  • Deepen Fidelity's footprint across the VIC, SA, and TAS markets
  • Work collaboratively with the Strategic Sales team
  • Develop and convert new, profitable business relationships
  • Negotiate commercial arrangements
  • Collaborate with the Institutional Sales team to identify group-level opportunities for Fidelity and provide support to win new business
  • Primary responsibility for management of an allocated list (panel) of intermediary relationships, including Financial Advisers, Boutique Dealer Groups, Stockbrokers, and potentially Research Houses and Platforms
  • Provide assistance to the National Sales Manager in managing and driving sales outcomes with key dealer group relationships
  • Contribute to the learning and development of fellow team members, including the Sales Associate
  • Meet/exceed sales targets (quarterly and yearly)
  • Meet/exceed minimum activity levels
  • Increase the number of advisers using Fidelity retail/wholesale funds
  • Retain existing Funds Under Management (FUM) with Fidelity
  • Increase knowledge and use of Fidelity products
  • Manage own time effectively
  • Contribute to the overall Fidelity distribution strategy and Australian business plan
  • Undertake extensive travel as required, including regular attendance at key events such as Conferences & PD Days
  • Lead and execute the sales strategy for Victorian, South Australian, and Tasmania regions, with broader input into the Wholesale Sales strategy
