Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales, preferably within the water technology or industrial equipment sector. Strong experience in sales, engineering, and customer relationship management is required, along with a deep understanding of the OEM market dynamics, including ETO and CTO processes. Knowledge of the DACH and Eastern European regions is essential, as is the ability to manage complex sales cycles and build strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Director will develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies for the OEM Business within Xylem’s AW segment, managing relationships with key customers, ensuring tailored support, and driving business growth. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, prioritizing strategic accounts, collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs, preparing sales forecasts, and focusing on joining customer approved vendor lists. Furthermore, the Regional Sales Director will drive team rhythm, collect information on opportunities, and provide insights to senior management, while also collaborating with customer-facing teams and competitive bids.
