Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the sale of EP products in a defined geographical district
  • Develop and execute sales plans, targets, and budgets within the overall regional and business unit sales strategy
  • Provide primary management responsibility for directing EP sales directly or through subordinates in a specified region
  • Exercise direct supervision over company sales force personnel
  • Recommend, interpret, and implement corporate, division, or organizationally specific policies and procedures; ensure employee compliance
  • Set goals, ensure they are met, and drive continuous process improvement
  • Assure quality of services meets internal and external customer requirements
  • Plan and organize work, monitor performance, and report status; use best business practices for success
  • Ensure operational practices across the district run smoothly, meet budget and sales goals, and comply with marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Create and maintain budgets for the district; coordinate with and report to senior management
  • Support sales representatives and key account colleagues in managing key client relationships and negotiating contracts
  • Build district sales capability and manage/motivate the district sales team
  • Hire and retain a diverse, highly qualified staff; provide career coaching, growth, and personal development
  • Develop staff through critiques, instructions, mentoring, evaluations, and coaching; accountable for subordinate performance
  • Maintain a safe working environment and strong customer focus
  • Prepare regional sales forecasts
