  • Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent for degrees earned outside the United States per 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)) and minimum of 5 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
  • Practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one job area

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical, educational, clinical, and sales support to assist the Region in meeting Cardiac Ablation Solutions sales and customer service objectives
  • Manage subordinate supervisors and/or experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
  • Provide tactical and/or operational leadership and coaching
  • Establish operational plans and implement policies and strategies
  • Manage performance, develop talent, engagement, and inclusion; communicate business and operational developments; plan, prioritize, and direct responsibilities of direct reports (typically six or more)
  • Ensure accountability for mentoring, developing, and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives
  • Provide leadership to staff, prioritizing strategic and department-level initiatives, defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts
  • Lead, direct, and review the work of a team of supervisors and/or experienced professionals in the Specialist career stream
  • Authorize hiring, firing, promotion, and rewards within own area
  • Propose modifications to functional operating policies and day-to-day processes
  • Gather detailed information, analyze, and investigate complex, difficult, and undefined problems
  • Communicate with internal and external customers and vendors regarding ongoing operations, using influence and persuasion to gain cooperation
  • Strive for continuous improvement and consistency in deliverables
  • Potentially manage budget or P&L accountability for a department, function, or geography
