Requirements

  • Ability to travel between properties within a designated region
  • Knowledge of technical and mechanical work to maintain buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to company standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and functionality
  • Compliance with established policies, procedures, safety standards, and code requirements for repairs
  • Capability to diagnose defects or problems and make repairs
  • Proficiency in completing documentation and paperwork accurately and timely

Responsibilities

  • Travels between properties within a designated region to assist with makereadies, work orders, curb appeal, cap ex projects, etc
  • Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and making repairs
  • Completes the “make-ready” process for vacant units, including pre-move-out inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors/contractors, obtaining supplies, performing maintenance tasks, and inspecting work
  • Follows procedures for accessing and obtaining materials, supplies, equipment, tools; tracks inventory, returns unused items, and notifies supervisors about re-ordering needs
  • Completes documentation and paperwork timely, accurately, and completely for service request tracking
  • Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities by picking up trash/debris, pressure-washing, general cleaning, and painting curbs/signage as needed
  • Supports cost-cutting and expense control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible
