Candidates must possess at least six months of industrial refrigeration experience or HVAC experience, along with general maintenance skills in welding, electrical, and hydraulics, and must be able to wear required personnel protection equipment, including Air Purifying Respirators, after completing a medical physical and clearance.
The Refrigeration Maintenance role involves documenting readings for ammonia systems, performing daily equipment inspections, visually inspecting equipment for ammonia issues, developing knowledge of facility layout and equipment, maintaining and monitoring ammonia refrigeration equipment within safety standards, performing forklift preventative maintenance, repairing equipment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures while working in various environments including hot and cold temperatures, wet floors, and cramped spaces.
