Process financial transactions accurately (cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, bottle refunds, voids, and coupons)
Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking products in designated areas
Perform front-end duties (operating the cash register, suggestive selling, enrolling guests in loyalty programs, maintaining a clean service area)
Ensure proper use of product identification and PLU codes; report pricing or signage errors
Maintain understanding of store programs and product locations
Communicate company programs, in-store specials, and coupons to customers
Comply with company policies regarding security, cash handling, product handling, alcohol and tobacco sales, etc
Maintain a clean and well-stocked department and grounds, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures
Assist with stocking items on the sales floor, cooler, and back room
