Requirements

Candidates should possess a PhD or Master’s degree in health sciences, economics, biology, natural sciences, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of relevant systematic literature review experience. Experience in systematic review methods in health economics and/or health services research is required, with experience in network meta-analysis being an advantage. Familiarity with HTA/regulatory submissions, including those from the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), SMC, and the European Medicines Agency is also necessary. Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.

Responsibilities

The Quantitative Literature Lead Investigator will act as an advisor or principal investigator on ITC analysis projects, including systematic literature reviews, directing and overseeing all aspects of study design and execution. They will provide strategic consultation to clients on research needs, conduct audits, deliver training, advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, participate in business development activities such as proposal review and bid defense meetings, and manage project budgets, deliverables, and timelines. The role involves independently directing key aspects of ITC and SLR projects, managing multiple projects, and performing a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by changing conditions. They will also serve as a consultant to other principal investigators, guide junior staff, delegate tasks, and participate in staff recruitment efforts.
