Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, including at least 3 years in a leadership role. Strong experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI, proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, and solid knowledge of programming languages like Go, Rust, JavaScript, or Python for test automation are required. Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like K6, JMeter or Gatling, familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD environments, and experience with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, or similar are also necessary.
The QA Staff Engineer will lead the QA team in designing, implementing, and executing test strategies for APIs and web applications, developing and maintaining automated test scripts for API and UI testing, establishing and enforcing best practices for software testing, collaborating with development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage, performing functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, working with CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing, mentoring and coaching QA team members, analyzing test results, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to improve product quality, and staying updated on the latest testing tools, trends, and methodologies.
