Requirements

Candidates should possess strong QA fundamentals including test planning, case writing, execution, and clear bug reporting. Proven experience testing creative video applications like After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Resolve is required, along with a solid understanding of video rendering, processing, and playback. Automation experience or coding skills, preferably in Python, and comfort working on both Windows and macOS platforms are necessary. Experience with agile development workflows and excellent communication skills with sharp attention to detail are also essential. Familiarity with Red Giant tools, motion graphics, compositing, VFX, professional video editing workflows, TestRail, GPU-accelerated effects, media file formats, and CI/CD pipelines are preferred.

Responsibilities

The QA Specialist will design, write, and execute automated and manual test plans for plugin functionality, performance, and stability within creative and video workflows. They will test workflows, features, and fixes for host applications, providing timely feedback to developers and product managers. Responsibilities include building real-world creative projects to validate workflows, collaborating with development teams to ensure quality standards are met, and developing/maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks. The role also involves documenting test plans, cases, and defect reports, tracking quality metrics, participating in process-improvement discussions, and troubleshooting/debugging issues.
