Candidates should have 3+ years of QA or software testing experience with a strong focus on backend/API testing, including strong SQL skills for writing complex queries and validating relational data. Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured, familiarity with automation frameworks for backend and service-level testing, and experience testing distributed, cloud-hosted systems (AWS preferred) are required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills in an Agile/Scrum environment are essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is necessary. Due to the role's involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person.
The QA Analyst will design, document, and execute test cases for backend services and RESTful APIs, validating MySQL queries, schema changes, stored procedures, and data integrity. They will perform functional, regression, and integration testing on backend components supporting PEDM, Vault, and Admin Console, and use tools like Postman or REST Assured to validate API behavior and automate API tests. Responsibilities also include testing system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance in distributed cloud environments, collaborating with engineers and product managers to resolve issues, tracking test tickets in Jira, documenting processes in Confluence, reporting test progress via TestRail, and contributing to continuous integration pipelines. The analyst will ensure QA efforts align with Keeper's security-first, compliance-driven standards.
