Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 years of relevant experience in technical RFP writing within the technology or healthcare tech industry, demonstrating in-depth knowledge of interpreting RFPs, developing technical responses, and crafting proposals. An APMP Practitioner or Shipley certification, or equivalent experience with APMP or Shipley certification in progress, is required. Familiarity with US healthcare (US Payer and Provider) is preferred, along with a post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

The Pursuit Manager will oversee the entire technical RFP and deal lifecycle for assigned responses and opportunities in both the US and Canada, managing prioritization and completion of technical proposals. They will be responsible for end-to-end opportunity management, including developing timelines, conducting gap analyses, and independently developing strategies to overcome them, as well as technical writing and ensuring compliance with mandatory requirements. This role will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, and marketing teams to create compelling proposals that align with Smile's brand guidelines, improve proposal capabilities, and deliver consistent results. Additionally, the Pursuit Manager will provide metrics, data, and reporting, maintain up-to-date knowledge of Smile's products and industry trends, and ensure compliance with privacy and security policies.
