Requirements

  • 10+ years of deep knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, data modeling, core functionality, and customization capabilities
  • Extensive experience with PLM processes, methods, and tools, including CAD integration, Part Management, BOM management, change management, and document management
  • Proficiency in Java, JSP, JavaScript, JSON, XML, API, RESTful web services
  • Integration experience (implied with S4 ERP and enterprise systems)

Responsibilities

  • Designs, implements, and supports PLM solutions using PTC Windchill with updated version
  • Gathers requirements, develops technical designs, and ensures seamless integration with S4 enterprise systems
  • Provides technical leadership, guidance, and expertise throughout the project lifecycle, including customization, configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and deployment in production environment
  • Works with stakeholders to understand business needs and translates them into functional and technical requirements for Windchill solutions
  • Develops and documents detailed technical designs for Windchill implementations, including customizations, configurations, and integrations
  • Designs and implements integration strategies with other enterprise systems like S4 ERP to ensure data flow and operational efficiency
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Customizes and configures Windchill to meet specific business requirements, including Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, PartsLink, and MPMLink
  • Develops and executes test cases, ensuring the quality and functionality of the Windchill solution
  • Creates and maintains technical documentation for the Windchill solution, including architecture, system design, configurations, and customizations
  • Provides ongoing support for the Windchill solution, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system upgrades
  • Mentors and develops junior consultants and team members
  • Keeps up-to-date with the latest advancements in PTC Windchill and related technologies
