Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience. They must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in provider data management, healthcare operations, or related roles, and demonstrate strong knowledge of healthcare provider data, including provider demographics, contract details, credentialing processes, and network participation. Candidates should also have proficiency in using provider data management systems and software, exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance related to provider data management (HIPAA, NCQA, etc.) is required, along with a proven track record of process improvement and optimizing operational efficiency, and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
The Provider Data Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the provider data team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards, and will report directly to the Director of Provider Data Management. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance provider data processes, monitor and manage daily provider data operational activities, resolve escalated issues from team members and stakeholders, analyze and report on key performance indicators, and identify opportunities for process improvement. The role involves developing and maintaining strong working relationships with provider network teams, credentialing teams, and other business units to drive efficient data management processes, participating in the development and implementation of training programs, contributing to the development and optimization of provider data management workflows and technologies, and staying informed about industry trends and regulatory changes.
