Requirements

Candidates should possess at least two years of experience in credentialing, licensing, or a related field within the healthcare industry, familiarity with credentialing platforms such as CAQH or CredentialStream, and EHR platforms, strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging with providers to collect documentation and resolve application issues, strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and Google Suite knowledge along with the ability to navigate spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

The Sr Coordinator will oversee provider licensing applications, ensuring compliance with state medical board and federal regulations; process license renewals, new license applications, and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaboration agreements; liaise with state medical boards, credentialing agencies, and the clinical team to resolve application delays or documentation errors; independently manage complex licensing cases; proactively manage the provider licensing database; serve as the internal point of contact for licensing inquiries; support ad-hoc practice and insurance operations tasks; and drive process improvements to streamline licensing workflows.
