We are seeking a Proposal Writer to join our tight-knit team, contributing to delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering long-term business partnerships.

Role Summary

The Proposal Writer is responsible for gathering information and crafting persuasive documents that address client needs. This role involves formatting proposals according to company guidelines, utilizing research and discovery findings, and obtaining internal approval before submission.

Position Responsibilities

  • Author Statements of Work, proposals, and other contractual or technical documentation.
  • Attend meetings and interview clients to understand expectations for documents.
  • Maintain close coordination with the Sales team on technical presales duties and requests.
  • Author and contribute to RFP responses and client presentations.
  • Develop and maintain proposal outlines, storyboards, and Sales contract templates.
  • Lead training for Sales team members on Technical Pre-Sales processes.
  • Communicate status, including timely reporting and escalation of issues and risks.
  • Pursue personal development by maintaining and obtaining technical capabilities, soft skills, and security-specific knowledge.
  • Provide feedback to management on non-standard issues and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of prior relevant experience or equivalent education in Proposal Writing, Business Analysis, IT Support, or other security/IAM-related positions.
    • Experience in writing Statements of Work, proposals, and other contracts.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite, Salesforce or other CRM technology.
    • IAM technology-specific training/certification is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication, storytelling, and research skills.
    • Knowledge of contractual language, legal agreements, terms and conditions, policies, and terminology.
    • Adept at conveying complex ideas in simple, persuasive language.
    • Experience working in a team and multi-tasking environment.
    • Ability to manage large workloads and meet critical deadlines.
    • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, quality, and unified style.
    • Ability to navigate and build relationships with immediate team and peers.
    • Ability to work well under supervision and follow standard processes unsupervised.
    • Encourages a considerate and productive atmosphere.
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, English, or a related field.

  • Minimal and on occasion as required (10% or less).
